Our client is a leading global developer of resource software for the management of production, planning and control signalling systems for the transportation industry at large. Due to expanding operations they are currently looking for an experienced C++ Software Architect to join their PERTH BASED team on a permanent basis. You will be responsible for working with a team of Developers to design and implement high level, Real Time control systems. The role will include specification writing, testing and installation of these systems in line with industry standards. Please note there may be some travel as required when systems are ready to go live on site. Ideally the successful candidate will have the following skills: Minimum 5 years+ experience in the design and development of Embedded systems. Strong commercial experience in C/C++ development. Strong commercial experience in Linux/Unix. Real Time system engineering. Experience in working through the full SDLC is also required. The successful candidate will be motivated and driven, and be a solid team player. You must be able to work to tight deadlines and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
