This is a role for an accomplished R&D Manager to step into one of the biggest names in the Australian software market and lead a highly successful product and software development team. The product is widely used in a niche industry, but is very well integrated with a suite of complimentary products, and as such, this role will suit someone who has managed both software development and product integration. The ideal candidate should be able to cover most of the following: Strong ERP or corporate systems development experience; Excellent people management skills including the ability to motivate; Strategic planning for the R&D of your core product; Strong release management and planning skills; Excellent understanding of quality and risk management; Awareness and understanding of new software engineering methodology; and Proven ability to develop product road maps. This position is based on the CBD fringe and is soon to be based in brand new offices.
