With well over twenty years experience in the retailing industry, this well established business is looking to add to their experienced support team based in the CBD. They have a requirement for an experienced Desktop Support Officer to provide support to over 50 sites with around 2000 users nationwide. This a permanent opportunity with excellent benefits and career potential. Your responsibilities will include: Troubleshooting a variety of technical issues PC, Laptop and printer support Local Area Network Support – port patching and troubleshooting Remote Support using PC anywhere Desktop & Notebook SOE (Standard Operating Environment) development & maintenance Blackberry Server and iPhone support You will be required to have to following skills and experience: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a great phone manner Excellent desktop & some server support skills Level 1/2Help Desk experience An understanding of great customer service and teamwork Previous experience in LAN/WAN troubleshooting Windows XP/Vista experience Windows Server 2003 troubleshooting and configuration Active Directory troubleshooting and configuration Exchange 2007 troubleshooting and configuration Experience in developing images using image software Experience supporting POS terminals If you feel you meet the above skills and experience and are available for an immediate start, then call Simon McSorley.
