Civil Engineering – Pipelines/Treatment/Desalination/Tunneling/Big Dams/Power Generation Job Title: PRINCIPAL ENGINEER This truly is a great opportunity to combine your water/civil engineering expertise with strategic client facing responsibilities. With a background working on magnificent feats of engineering, you will now form an integral part of the business development process from an engineering perspective. In essence, you will ultimately be the Principal Engineer, delivering new projects and leading alliances. However, in these instances you will have your say and be instrumental in shaping and winning the contracts from the start. Whilst this is not a sales role, you will need the commercial awareness to set strategies and tactics for prospective flagship projects/contracts. To this end, you would typically accompany senior management including directors to high profile meetings with C-Level Clients and key stakeholders. Your input would be required in a technical engineering capacity. You would therefore “sell” practicalities and “piece of mind” Your personality and ability to confidently articulate yourself with credible statements of what can be realistically achieved is paramount.
