This Global outsourcing organisation are seeking a experienced support individual to join their professional team based in Milton. Your team is responsible for the support and management of one of their major QLD client environments including participation in project work as required. It is essential that all assigned tasks are carried out in a professional, client-focussed manner in accordance with contracted service levels and KPI’s. Key Duties: Maintain the availability performance the Windows server fleet in line with contracted service levels and KPI’s. Diagnose and resolve support calls within the contracted service levels and KPI’s. Provide assistance to other skill groups in the resolution of incidents. Execute Release Management activities. Complete Project tasks as required. Accurately record time spent performing tasks. Provide input to the development of Standards for IT Infrastructure. Audit server configurations and take remedial action to ensure Standards are adhered to. Proactively provide recommendations to address current issues and capacity problems. Essentials: MCSA (in Win2003 or Win2008) or demonstrated practical experience Strong Customer Service ethic and focus Strong oral written communication skills Sound skills in workflow planning management Be able to demonstrate a logical approach to problem solving Self motivated and goal oriented Experience in delivering projects Desirable: Current certifications/or recent practical experience in supporting administering Citrix. Current certifications/or recent practical experience in supporting administering VMWare ESX. Current certifications/or recent practical experience in supporting administering SAN technologies ITIL Fundamentals Foundation Certificate.
