Our client, a major employer within the Queensland area is actively looking to recruit the services of an ICT Project Manager. This position is on contract basis for an initial 6 month period with the real possibility of extending for a further 6 months! This role will require you to initiate, lead and manage assigned projects within the Telecommunications Engineering field. You will have full responsibility for financial planning of the project and will look after all human and physical resources to ensure project is delivered on time and to budget. Attention to detail is a prerequisite of this particular opportunity as you will need to ensure that the project scope is fully controlled and delivered to time, quality and costs as previously agreed and outlined. As part of this role you will liaise with stakeholders, vendors and external resources as and when required within the project plan to ensure that the project runs smoothly and error free. To be considered for this opportunity you will ideally need a minimum 4-5 years previous Project Management experience ideally within Telecommunications or Engineering projects. Any experience of working within State Local Government will certainly be beneficial to your application as you will be liaising with various departments in government on a regular basis.
