A leading technology business, who provide solutions for advertising, print and media organizations are presently looking for a junior Microsoft Systems Engineer. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious IT professional to grow as part of a close-knit team. The role: - Implementing solutions for clients that include technologies such as Windows Server 2003, IIS 6.0, IIS 7.0, Windows Sharepoint Services, Windows Server 2008, Scripting, backup software, anti-virus software, systems monitoring applications and basic network support - Hyper-V virtualisation on Windows Server 2008 core (No prior experience necessary) - Exposure to deploying several open source applications such as DotProject, Joomla CMS, Sugar CRM, MYSQL etc. (No prior experience necessary) - A minimum of 3 years experience in the IT industry is required The requirements: - An IT, Computer Science or Engineering degree (essential) - Good experience of working within the IT industry is (essential) - MCSE or MCP qualifications will be (desirable) If you are a self-motivated, entry level graduate looking to escalate their career within the IT industry you will be given everything you need to make the role your own.
